It’s no secret that the youth of today have run amok; abandoning the things that make the teenage years the absolute highlight of life, and, instead, have turned to activities that had been reserved for adults in previous generations. We at Snipes shudder at the thought of our kids looking back with disappointment and regrets on the all important high school years. But, we are at a loss as to how to stem the tide of wasted years facing this current generation. So, we turn to our readers for help. We are going to list four of the potentially biggest disappointments and lost opportunities created by current teenage trends; we trust that you, our faithful readers, will treat the comment section as a brainstorming session. We at Snipes believe that if we combine our collective insights and intelligence, we will be able to come up with ways in which to turn the practices of today’s youth back to the practices set by the high school standard bearing years of the 1970s – 1980s (and the first few years of the 1990s).
